Flyer Pride
A Little PBL
2nd through 5th grade students participated in at Thanksgiving PBL where students created Parade Floats and showed their floats during a parade through the school
Elementary Flight Crews
Students enjoy spending time creating artwork and spending time with the residents at the nursing home. Students are building relationships with their peers and members of the community!
Outdoor Classroom
4th grade students had a Lemonade War. With the money raised they designed an outdoor classroom for the school. Mr. Simon's class did the work of putting up the shade sails. This project is on going.
Elementary Clubs
Elementary students enjoy spending time in their afternoon clubs. Club offerings range from Makerspace to Coding to Board Games. Clubs are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2:45-3:15.
Buddy Flight Crews
Elementary Flight Crews pair up with a JH/HS Mentor Group once a month to do different activities to build relationships between students in all grade levels. Buddy Flight Crews play games, visit the nursing home, and provide community service during this time.
My
Time
My Time is a time in the day to allow voice and choice to our elementary students. Each grade level gets approximately 15 minutes of free play, every day, after lunch.
